You might be surprised that here at Optometry @ Cooroy we allow around 45 minutes for your first eye examination with us. As an independent optometry practice we are able to set our scheduling to enable us to take the time to get to know you, your concerns and needs. You will not have to feel rushed and you will know that a thorough assessment has been performed.  We are the only Cooroy Optometrist.

Regular comprehensive visual examinations are recommended at least every two years. This is important to assess both your vision and the health of your eyes.  Depending on your visual condition, it may be recommended that you attend more frequently.
Our examination process has changed dramatically over the years both in response to new research and treatment protocols as well as to take advantage of new instrumentation available. Our patients often comment that there are more tests involved these days as well as more  “fancy equipment”.
Our Cooroy optometrist staff can advise you on the best type of lenses for your needs and help you select a frame to enhance your appearance.
We also stock a wide range of accessories including sunglasses, spectacle chains, cases, makeup glasses, clip-on sunglasses and fit-overs, cleaning cloths and sprays.
Once you have your new glasses, please feel free to return to see us at regular intervals for complementary frame adjustments and cleaning.

The Cooroy Optometrist regular opening hours are:
Monday to Friday 8:30 am  to 5:00 pm
If it is not possible for you to attend during regular opening hours, please let us know & we might be able to arrange a before or after-hours appointment for you.
